A moving quote becomes useful only when both parties mean the same thing by the job.

CHECKLIST

Make three things
visible.

Scope. Describe rooms, large or fragile items, stairs/lifts, carrying distance and whether packing or assembly is needed.

Price. Ask whether it is hourly or fixed, whether there is a minimum charge, and how materials, travel and changes are handled.

Confirmation. Save the quote and confirm approved changes in writing before moving day.
